Fishing the San Juan

The San Juan River is a world class tail water located in Northwest New Mexico about one hour from Durango, CO.  Fishing great all 365 days a year, it holds over 10,000 trout per mile, with the opportunity to catch trophy rainbow and brown trout any given day on the water.  Floatable all year as well as having a mile of wade only water, there are options for every fisherman of any ability to be had on the San Juan River.

At Southwest Anglers we will put you on the fish and give you the tools you need to catch em.  Our guides have decades of experience on the water and spend upwards of 200 days a year guiding the San Juan.  We know how to show everyone from the most experienced to complete beginners a great day on the water.
